Paytm Vacation Leave Policy

Vacation days at Paytm are given based on business needs and the employee’s tenure with the company. Usually, Paytm offers 15 days of paid time off to eligible employees, out of which 10 days can be carried forward to the following year. The company’s management (including HR and managers) encourages employees to plan their vacation days in advance to cater to their priorities.

Paytm Marriage Leave Policy

There are very few companies in India that offer marriage leave to their employees, and Paytm is one of them. The company understands the significance of such occasions in one’s life and how desperately one needs some time off to celebrate these events. Therefore, Paytm provides five days of paid wedding leave to regular employees on the occasion of their marriage. However, Paytmers are required to take prior approval from their immediate managers.

Paytm Sick Leave Policy

All employees at Paytm are entitled to avail of 5 days of paid sick leave in a month in cases of illness or medical emergencies. One cannot carry forward their sick leaves to the following year. If unused at the end of the month, the sick leave days will be treated as lapsed.

The employees are allowed to take a maximum of two consecutive days of sick/casual leave within a fortnight. In situations where employees need more than two leaves, approval from the reporting manager is required.

Paytm Parental Leave Policy

Female employees at Paytm are entitled to avail 26 weeks (six months) of paid maternity leave along with daycare care facilities, allowances, and more. Maternity leaves at Paytm can be availed by both regular and trainee female employees, provided that they have been working for more than 80 days with the company.

On the other hand, male employees at Paytm are only allowed five days of paid paternity leave.

Note: Keep in mind that granting any kind of leave is at the discretion of the company’s management/reporting manager, depending on the business requirements and project criticalities.

Paytm Miscarriage Leave Policy

This year, Paytm has introduced miscarriage leave to support their employees going through a tough time. As per the Maternity Benefit Act of 1961, a female employee is eligible to avail up to 6 weeks of paid leave in case of a miscarriage or medical termination of pregnancy. Paytm allows its employees to take some time off to recuperate.

Paytm Bereavement Leave Policy

The company offers its support to Paytmers to cope with the loss of their near and dear ones. Employees can apply for bereavement leaves on the unfortunate event of the demise of an immediate family member (spouse, children, parents/in-laws, siblings, and grandparents.). The bereavement days allow them to take time to grieve at this difficult time. Paytm offers 5 days of paid bereavement leave that can be availed within two weeks of the death of a family member.

Paytm Earned Leave Policy

Paytm offers a good number of earned leaves to its employees. An employee can even accumulate their earned leave up to 45 days and carry forward them to the following year.
However, the earned leaves can be availed by prior approval from the in-line manager.

Paytm Privilege Leave (PL) Policy

Paytm provides 1.25 days per month as privilege leave to its employees. Paytmers can accumulate their privilege leave for up to 35 days and carry forward them. Privilege leave is encashable for employees at the time of exiting the company.
